Grifting At Its Best

I recently read that U.S. taxpayers have provided over $200,000,000 to trumps golfing outings.

Given the conditions of the world today because of his actions, that may actually be the best investment taxpayers could make. If he is playing golf, he can’t be ruining something else. He would be so busy claiming a championship in a non-existent tournament in which no one else played that he wouldn’t have time to attack Monaco or the Vatican or some other major threat to the U.S.A.

Of course, we still would have pentagon pete spending millions of dollars on critical defense equipment like lobsters, ribeye steaks, etc.

An article in Newsweek highlighted the following expenditures by the Pentagon so far in 2026:

Ribeye steaks:            $15,100,000

Lobster tails:              $6,900,000

King crab:                  $2,000,000

Salmon:                      $1,000,000

Donuts:                       $139,224

Ice cream machines    $124,000

Not to mention $100,000 to buy a Steinway grand piano to go in the home of the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force.

Not to be outdone by a rank amateur, Homeland secretary Cristi Noem managed to spend almost $200,000,000 on luxury private jets for herself and the deputy chief of Homeland Security.

Now, to be totally fair to noem, she did shut down a government program called Invent2Prevent. By doing this she claims to have saved taxpayers over $1,000,000.

According to an article on adventurepartners.com, the I2P program was a “national program that challenges high school and university students to create innovative, peer-driven products, tools, or initiatives that prevent targeted violence, hate, and terrorism. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3), I2P equipped students with the tools, mentorship, and resources to turn big ideas into measurable impact.”

The same article also provides the following numbers about the program:

10,000 students engaged in the program, 282 universities and high schools in 41 states and Washington, D.C. participated, 500+ projects were adopted into the communities, $3.3 million were awarded to student teams to continue their work.

In other words, it was a successful program. So, of course, the administration cancelled it.

After all, the ‘money it saved’ would buy enough fuel for her jets to fly about 250 hours. Or a whole lot of trips from Washington D.C. to Mount Rushmore and back.

At an Easter rally on Easter Sunday, trump said:

“The United States can’t take care of daycare. That has to be up to a state,” Trump said. “We’re a big country. We have 50 states. We have all these other people, we’re fighting wars. We can’t take care of daycare. You’ve got to let a state take care of daycare, and they should pay for it too.

“Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things. They can do it on a state basis. You can’t do it on a federal [level]. We have to take care of one thing: military protection—we have to guard the country. But all these little things, all these little scams that have taken place, you have to let states take care of them.”

These are the same states, you understand, who aren’t capable of running their own voting systems and must let the federal government take over the voting.

Social Security and Medicare ARE NOT state functions. Only in the mind of a madman can an illegal war take precedence over the welfare of citizens.

It is crucial that we turn America blue in November. Build that ocean of blue.
