Donnie claims to be a Christian but he apparently doesn’t go to church. He never uses biblical phrases when talking. Shoot, he barely uses English when talking. Mostly just gibberish. I seriously doubt that he could tell you what John 3:16 says. He probably thinks the Lords prayer starts out, “Our father who art me……”

It seems strange to me that a person whose existence stems from immigrants should be so anti-immigrant. His grandfather, Fredrich Trump, immigrated to the from Germany. By the way, he was considered an illegal immigrant in Germany because he left Germany to avoid military service. Sounds like he started a family tradition.

The Trump fortune was founded on Frederick’s operation of a restaurant/brothel in Whitehorse, Yukon territory, Canada during the Yukon gold rush.

donnies mother was an immigrant from Scotland. Two of his wives were/are immigrants.

I guess immigrants are only good when they benefit your own family. But since this country was founded by immigrants (after stealing the land from the natives) I think there may be a good case for saying immigrants did have some role in getting us where we are today. Pre-trump, that is.

donnies father, Fredrick Christ Trump, was born in New York. As a young man he worked in the real estate business his father, Frederick, had founded. The compay built and managed single-family housing in the borough of Queens, over 25,000 apartments in New York, and apartments on the west coast for WW II workers located there.

In 1954 Trump (Fred) was investigated by a U.S. Senate committee for profiteering however no indictments were issued. In 1966 he was again investigated, this time by the State of New York. Again, no indictments were issued. I suspect that some investigators had a very nice Christmas that year though.

In 1971, donnie joined his fathers company around 1968. That was also the year that donnie received a military deferment from the Vietnam War, having been diagnosed with ‘bone spurs’. The fact that the ‘diagnosis’ was done by a doctor living in one of Freds rental units does seem a little unusual to me.

donnie has stated that he received a ‘small loan of one million dollar’s’ which he claimed to turn into a 10 billion dollar fortune. According to an article in the New York Times in 2018 Fred actually created some 295 income streams for donnie and that donnie was a millionaire by the age of 8. The article states that donnie received over $413 million over his lifetime including loans of over $60 million which were mostly never repaid. (hmmmmmm, sounds familiar)

It should be noted that as far back as 1972 there were complaints of housing discrimination by the Trump organization. In July of 1972 the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the Urban League sent test applicants to rental properties owned by the Trumps. It was found that white applicants were offered apartments while black applicants were, for the most part, told there were no available units.

In 1973 the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice filed a civil rights lawsuit against the Trump organization, charging them with infringing the Fair Housing Act of 1968.

The following is a direct quote from Wikipedia:

“The FBI interviewed about three dozen former Trump employees. Some testified that they had no knowledge of any racial profiling practices and that a small percentage of their apartments were rented to blacks or Puerto Ricans. A former doorman testified that his supervisor had instructed him to tell prospective black tenants that the rent was double the actual amount.

Four landlords or rental agents confirmed that applications sent to the Trump organization’s head office for approval were coded by the race of the applicant. One former employee testified that code-which he believed was used throughout the Brooklyn branch of the company- referred to ‘low lifes’ such as blacks, Puerto Ricans, apparent drug users, or any other type of undesirable applicant and nine times out of ten it meant the applicant was black.”

In June of 1975 a consent decree was signed by the Trump organization and the Department of Justice. The decree did not require the Trump organization to accept persons on welfare but did require them to “thoroughly acquaint themselves personally on a detailed basis with the Fair Housing Act of 1968”.

Given this history, can anyone explain to me why ANY person of Puerto Rican or African-American, or any other minority for that matter, would support djt?

I said at the beginning donnie claims to be Christian. I wonder if he knows about Exodus 20:5?     “For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.”

Four generations? Maybe that explains a lot!
