In a previous blog I said that trump claims to be a Christian. I’m not sure whether or not he is familiar with the Lord’s prayer but just as a reminder, I will quote it here:
“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
If he does know about it, I can well imagine that he has his own version.

Give us this day our daily grift and forget our debtors as we forget them too. Lead us not into accomplishment but deliver us from sanity. For mine is the kingdom and the ego and the scam forever.”
The recent picture he posted showing him healing an Epstein-like figure just reinforces the idea that he does not consider himself to be mortal.
When one reads the bible it almost seems as if it were written for trump himself. For example, Provers 8:17 says, “I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me early shall find Me.”
I guess that explains the likes of marjorie taylor greene, ann coulter, ben carson, etc. In other words, cowtow early to get to the front of the line.
As the Christian that he claims to be it would make sense that he would want a Secretary of confusion War who was also a Christian. And, In pentagon pete he has found the perfect mate. pete, I’m sure, has a favorite biblical reference to which he firmly adheres. It may well be Psalm 137:9 “Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.”
In a further display of his Christian attitude and his beliefs in the teachings of Jesus, trump said, “” A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”
I can only guess that that statement, alone, sent pentagon pete into fits of ecstasy.
OK, enough about religion. As trump moves further and further into a realm of fantasy and delusion, it becomes more and more apparent that his mental faculties are not those of a normal human being. In a recent speech rant he talked about people in Iran being killed “and are now walking around with no legs and no arms.”
In another speech rant he refers to a 6 year old girl being ‘of age’. I don’t know just exactly what it will take to convince the American people that this is not a normal, functioning mass of brain matter.
The thing about dictators, or dictator wanna-be’s, is that they are in love with the sound of their own voices. They cannot imagine that there is one single person in the entire world who really doesn’t care what they have to rant about. And, when you have a cult following you don’t have to make sense for your followers to dote on every syllable issued from your mouth.
The problem here is that the cult leader is allowed to do whatever he wants with an entire nation. Don’t like the White House? No problem, just tear part of it down to build a monument to yourself. Can’t get someone to give you a medal you don’t deserve? Fine, just threaten them with annihilation. And, if you recall from trumps first term, he had the gall to ask if he could give himself the Congressional Medal of Honor! What an insult to those who really did earn it, sometimes at the cost of their lives.
There is an old joke about MAGA and light bulbs: ‘how many MAGATS does it take to replace a light bulb? None. Trump tells them the bulb is fine and they sit around in the dark bragging about how bright the bulb is.’
It is way past time to change that light bulb. We cannot afford, literally, to continue living in the dark ages.
